Originally a frum community at it's founding in 1908, the Jewish community of Bellingham even had a Mikvah! Fast forward to post WW2 era with high rates of assimilation, Torah life dwindled and eventually the Mikvah was covered over. For the past few decades, Chabad has been here to revive Torah life in Bellingham and bring the Rebbe's vision to life catering to both college students and the broader community of all ages. While our community is relatively small, we Baruch Hashem continue to see growth. These days, we have a regular shul crowd, with minyanim for Yomim Tovim and even multiple times a month! We have learning and social programming for many demographics and are in the middle of bringing a Kosher Mikvah back to Bellingham.
