Choose your giftThousands of Chabad shluchim and shluchos serve Jewish communities in places with no wealthy donor base — small towns, college campuses, far-flung countries. They give everything; fundraising is the part that keeps them up at night.
DollarDaily exists so that supporting shluchim doesn't depend on knowing one personally. Your dollar a day joins a worldwide pool, and every single day that pool goes to a different shliach's community.

Read recipient storiesWhen a Chabad house is featured, it receives that day's entire pooled amount — often the equivalent of dozens of local donors appearing in a single day. For a shliach in a small community, that day can fund a month of programming, a holiday campaign, or repairs the local budget could never cover.
Just as important: every featured shliach knows that daily givers around the world chose to stand with their corner of shlichus that day. The IllumiNations stories we publish each week come straight from those communities.
From Anchorage to Ashkelon, Cape Town to Cluj-Napoca — the recipient calendar deliberately reaches Chabad emissaries the spotlight usually misses. Browse the impact map and you'll find communities on every inhabited continent.
A featured community begins with a fund request from a Shliach. The application explains the organization, the people it serves and the need the grant will address. Approved requests are then placed on the recipient calendar.
This process keeps the giving personal without limiting donors to the few Shluchim they already know. Every day introduces another community and another reason to participate.
The daily grant is financial help, but the public recognition matters too. A featured Shliach sees a worldwide group of donors stand behind the work for that day, while donors learn what Jewish life looks like in communities large and small.
IllumiNations extends that relationship by publishing recipient stories that show the work, challenges and people behind the calendar.
DollarDaily pools $1-a-day gifts into a daily grant for a different Chabad house. Shluchim: apply for your community's day. Donors: fund it.
Donate to Chabad the daily way: pooled $1-a-day gifts funding a different Chabad-Lubavitch community every single day of the year.
Make tzedakah a daily habit: one automatic dollar a day, reaching a different Jewish community every day of the year. Tzedakah online, the consistent way.
Each day's pooled donations go to that day's featured Chabad house, chosen through a fund-request process. The recipient calendar names every day's recipient publicly.
The daily pool always goes to the day's featured community, but you can dedicate a day in honor or memory of someone, and shluchim you know can apply for their own day through the Request Funds page.
DollarDaily is built to keep overhead minimal so the daily pool goes to the featured community. Every donation is receipted and the calendar shows exactly where each day went.
Use the Request Funds page to apply for a day on the recipient calendar. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Shluchim submit fund requests with their organization details and current need. DollarDaily reviews approved requests and schedules recipients on the public calendar.
